How much time do you spend on social media in a day ?

It depends on my schedule. If I have a busy schedule, i spend less time. If I am free, i spend most of the time on social media.

But now since i have started this part time work of writing, i spend very less time on social media, especially instagram. Earlier I used to spend nearly 1-2 hours a day on Instagram, howsoever busy I was. But now i do not even open Instagram for hours, which i guess is a good change.

Also, everyone should admit that excess of social media is not good for mental health as well as eyes. I have realised this now after starting this part time job. I feel good now, that I'm not wasting my time on such useless apps, instead I'm focusing on doing something productive.

Also, another useless app, snapchat, where people like me make streaks. Simply wastage of time and energy with zero benefits and lot of harms. I have even stopped doing this now, earlier I had streaks up to 500.

So the conclusion is, go, find some productive work instead of wasting your time on social media in excess

I am spending 1-2 hours on Facebook to get updates regarding political news. There are many hidden news which are not available on biased news channels.

On TV channels, I see almost same need. They all follow the same pattern. If noida building is collapsing, every news channel is telecasting the same.. is it a news?

No one is showing the social problems and public problems on TV. Most of the channels are showing propaganda.

So it is better to get updates from different small channels.
