We generally wash our bikes with the soap or shampoo. Yesterday, I was surfing the internet and there I read that it is not safe to wash a bike with shampoo. What is the reason ?

When you are washing your bike, first take care that engine shouldn't be too hot because the coatings of nickel or chromium can get damage. Use the microfiber cloth for washing or you can use the good quality sponge.
