Most of the students feel nervous while giving an interview and they are unable to answer properly. They think multiple sets of eyes are watching him/her even if its just one person.
Here, I am sharing the ways to look confident in an interview :
1. Remember your Value -
Knowing your value is a part of having a strong personal brand. Just keep in mind that why did they invite you to this interview in the first place. Its because you have the technical expertise, and the experience. And you have the potential to be able to help that organization in this particular position. When you remember your value it will help to boost your confidence.
2. Use the power of persuasion -
You must know what you want and how to convince and persuade others to help you in getting the job or a salary bump. Its not like you have to adopt the corrupt ways or you have to give bribe to convince others. Its about the power of persuasion and influence. The building blocks of the persuasion are Context and Timing.
3. Frame every answer appropriately -
When you are asked to give the answer, first frame the answer in your mind. This should be particular done in the questions where you are asked to tell any story. Like you are asked to give an answer of the question "What difficult situation you faced during the Covid period ? Here, you have to develop the picture and express your thoughts and feeling in a clear manner to indulge the interviewers in your story so, that they get attracted and offer you a job.
