The movie takes us on an exciting and emotionally jarring trip as a whole village that has lived its entire life in servitude finds its salvation in a legendary don, featuring the rags to riches story of Rocky. 3. Lucifer
The political stories in South Indian movies are entirely distinct, and Lucifer is no exception. The movie centres on a significant power struggle that starts after a political party leader dies. A great deal of mayhem ensues, and in the midst of it all, a strange guy appears, poised to take the throne.
4. Magadheera
Magadheera is the film that gave Ram Charan the impetus he needed to launch his career. The movie, directed by S. S. Rajamouli, was well received in theatres. If you have seen Raabta, you can understand the plot of the movie. The Hindi version of this south Indian film, Raabta, stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon, however it fell short of capturing the true spirit of Magadheera.
5. Urumi
This historical drama, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Genelia DSouza, takes you through Kerala history. It tells the tale of Kelu (Prithviraj), a warrior from the 17th century who is out to avenge the death of his father. For strong drama and a compelling plot, watch this.
