Yesterday, I searched insurance and water tank cleaning service and today ads related to insurance and water tank cleaning started appearing on my facebook page. What does it mean?
Who is tracking my searches? How facebook got to know that I am interested in insurance and water tank cleaning service?
Someone is tracking.. Then I thought again, I searched these words on chrome browser and also I am using facebook WebApp (not android app) on my chrome browser. Does it means chrome is sending my searches to third parties?
I found an option "Do not track" in chrome. Let us see what is that.
- Open chrome browser
- Open settings
- Open Privacy & Security
- Click "Do Not Track"
- Enable / On the feature

If you are concerned about your privacy, alsways turn DNT to on
