Eyes are the utter most important organ in human. Without eyes, just imagine, it would be extremely difficult. If you get dry eyes for longer days then it may create scratches on out layer of your eyes called cornea.
The fact is, precautionary, we do not take care of our body parts when they are working fine.
For example, when our eyes have no problem, we do not use any eye tonic for them. They keep on degrading and when we start having problems then we start medicine.
We should also use eye tonic earlier so that you get no issues with eyes at an early stage of your life.
I regularly work on laptop for around 10 hours. I started having dry eyes, tiredness and redness in eyes. I feel strain on eyes.
I was using itone from Deys company but I feel that it dries the eyes more because it has alum in it. So it was not actually lubricating the eyes, rather it feels that it was drying the eyes.
There are artificial eye lubricants available in the market but you should consult eye specialist before using those.
My ayurveda chemist friend has recommended a new eye drops which is opthacare. This is from Himalaya company.
It has ingredients which has antihistaminic and antioxidant properties. It has honey, Tulsi, kapoor etc.. I just tried it on first day and it feels very effective in dry eyes syndrome.
