I am really worrying about my hairfall. Yesterday, I found that Vitamin B-5 helps in reducing hair loss. Is this really helpful ?

Today's modern life we face many health issues and hair fall is major problem for youngsters, for which they are too much worried. Now we are solving this with Vitamin B5, also known as Panthothenic acid or calcium panthothenate. The major function of B5 is to breakdown of fats and carbohydrates for energy.

It works in collaboration with other nutrients to rebuild hair shafts which are damaged by use of various cosmetics. It is vital vitamin for healthy hair which helps in strengthening and nourishes hair follicle to promote healthy hair growth and reduces hair loss, as it provides sufficient moisture to follicles of dry hair.

Its recommended dose for adults is 5 mg per day but consuming it in larger dose increases the chance of side effects such as diarrhea.

Foods that generally contain contain Vitamin B5 are whole grains, Milk, Meat and Eggs.
