Combs v/s Brush :

1. When the hair is wet, the comb is typically favoured since it can better disentangle the knots without damaging the hair shaft. On damp hair, the brush is more forceful and runs the danger of breaking it. But using hair brushes to massage the scalp and remove dandruff buildup is good.

2. Short strands of hair were more likely to break off from combs than from brushes, which were more likely to break off lengthy strands.

3. Typically, a comb is used to initially untangle and remove knots from the hair. The hair is then teased and divided or parted into the necessary pieces. Then, forms, volume, and curls are created with the hairbrush.

4. Although combs are acceptable for all hair types, the right brushes must be selected and used according to the hair type.

5. Combs serve as a detangler, scalp stimulater, and instrument for efficiently transferring natural oils. Additionally, they are superior to brushes when your hair is dry following a wash.

6. Not every brush can be used in every situation. When selecting your brush, take into account the state of your hair and scalp, your hair type, thickness, texture, length, sensitivity, and your intended haircut. Combs are rather easier to choose.

7. The wide and flat paddle brush has a rubber cushion base and functions as a comb while conforming to the shape of your head. It works with the majority of hair types. Others, like the round-barrel brush, are only used to curl hair and style it. You need a brush with extremely soft bristles if you have short or extremely fine hair. Nylon bristle brushes are frequently recommended for detangling hair, however regardless of your hair type, they end up pulling it too much.
