It has modified the design by putting the pod propulsion, power, and levitation on it. Pods move in formation. The pods are not interconnected like trains are, so each one can have a distinct destination. While the rest of the convoy stays on its course, the pods take an exit resembling a motorway off-ramp.
They can change directions quickly and smoothly join and leave convoys since there are no moving elements on the rail and levitation and navigation systems on top of the pods. Along with enabling incredibly quick travel, these developments also enable on-demand, direct-to-destination service for pods. At aeroplane speeds and with no direct emissions, the hyperloop will transport tens of thousands of passengers per way per hour.
