Utilizing solar energy, solar panels produce useful electricity. At a high level, solar cells use the "photovoltaic effect" to convert incoming sunlight into an electrical current. By means of plates and cables, this electrical current is captured and converted into a useful energy current that is then transmitted to your home and appliances.

Working of Solar Panel :

The work of actually producing power is done by the solar cells that make up each solar panel. The solar panels on your home generate an electrical current thanks to the photovoltaic effect. When it goes through your solar inverter, DC electricity is transformed into AC electricity. Transformers that control the voltage of DC and AC currents are another option for inverters.

The converted AC electricity is delivered to your home electrical box by solar inverters. From there, power is sent throughout your home to all of your outlets so that there is an useful electric current accessible when your devices need to be plugged in. If your solar system is connected to the electrical grid, electricity can flow both ways, and any extra energy generated by your panels can even generate income for you. You obtain credits from the power grid through a practise known as net metering when you send electricity back to it, which lowers your overall cost of electricity even further.

Advantages of Solar Panel :

  1. Solar energy is absolutely clean; it has no impact on greenhouse gases, water pollution, or air quality.
  2. Over the course of its useful lifetime, which can last up to 25 years, solar panel systems are incredibly robust and require little to no maintenance.
  3. The biggest benefit of using solar energy at home is the reduction in monthly electricity expenditures.
