5. Defense against ultraviolet (UV) radiation

It is essential to protect your eyes from damaging UV rays. Your eyes can be protected from the sun harmful rays with a wide-brimmed hat, scarf, or dupatta. In addition, UV-induced eye damage can be avoided by wearing polarised sunglasses, photochromatic lenses, and UV-blocking contact lenses.
