Day by day, I am losing my hair. Too many hair fall from my hair. When I comb my hair, no. of hair comes along with the comb ? How can I prevent hair loss at home ?

Hair fall and Hair thinning are one of the most common problems faced by both men and women today.

Avoid these mistakes to stop hair loss :

1. Avoid shampoos having sodium laurel sulphate

2. Heat is bad for hair so don't use dryers or straighteners

3. Wash hair products before going to sleep

4. Avoid brushing wet hair

5. Avoid tying hair too tightly

6. Live stress free

Causes of hair fall and ways to fix it :

1. Poor Blood Circulation -

The nutrients in our body flow through the blood. If the blood circulation in your scalp area is low, your hair will fall.

How to improve blood circulation ?

  •  Massage you scalp for 3-4 times a week
  • do not use oils with artificial fragrances
  • massage has to be done gently
  • do exercise for 15 minutes a day

2. Increase in Dihydrotestosterone -

Hair loss in men is due to the Hormone dihydrotestosterone which is commonly known as DHT. It causes the shortening of the life span of hair follicles. To reduce the levels of DHT, one should include DHT blocking foods.

Some of the DHT blocking foods are Fenugreek seeds, Almonds, Banana, Tomato, Carrots, Mushrooms etc.

3. Poor nutrition -

It is the major reason for hair fall. If the body is devoid of nutrients for a long time, one thing it can afford is to lose hair.

Every hair stand is made up of the protein so, one should have their daily dose of protein. Foods like Kidney beans, chickpeas, black chana, lentils, paneer, chicken, fish are rich in proteins.
