We communicate each other with through mobiles connected by a mobile tower. I have seen there is a round drum on mobile tower. What is the working of this drum ?

Do you know what this drum type thing is called ?
It is referred to "Antenna" through we are connected with each other via cell phones.
How the Mobile Tower works ?
When we talk to the person via mobiles, then our voice is converted to Radio signals and then the nearby tower. The tower converts that signal into Fibre Signal and is send to next tower which converts the fibre signal again to the Radio signal and is send to us by which we can communicate.
What is the working of this "Drum" ?
The drum catches the radio signal emitted by the mobiles and send it to the next tower. The drums are placed on the all sides of the tower so that signal can be catched fairly.
