Today everybody is looking for economical fuel for vehicles, compressed natural gas (CNG) is better choices for them. In last 12 to 18 months, CNG gained great popularity over other fuels such as petrol and diesel, in commercial vehicles. The sale of CNG vehicles is continuously increasing because of price differential between diesel and CNG.
CNG ignites more cleaner than traditional petrol and diesel. CNG cars also make less noise than gasoline and diesel vehicles.
CNG is cheaper than traditional fuels but the efficiency of CNG is near about similar. There is huge migration in light as well as medium duty trucks towards CNG. The older vehicles are also replaced with CNG.
Maintenance cost for running CNG vehicles per km is almost half as compared to traditional petrol and diesel. The main problem faced by CNG vehicle buyers is scarcity of CNG stations. There is a hope that this problem would resolve in the coming years.
