This is very confusing and commonly arising question that Dolo which is one of the most preferred medicine for headache, fever, pain, etc., Can this be used for allergies in body?
For e.g. allergy in eye or allergy due to an insect bite or any other sort of allergy or inflammation.
So, the answer is simply NO.
This is because Dolo contains Paracetamol which is poor anti inflammatory in nature, so it cannot treat the underlying cause of most the allergies which is inflammation.
But doctors still prescribe it for allergies in case there is fever along with allergy.
For allergy, you should go for fexofenidine or levoceterizine
