Prayag means where two or more things meet together. We are talking about Panch Pryag which are located in Uttrakhand. These are Vishnuprayag,Nandprayag,Karnaprayag,Rudraprayag and Devprayag.

*Vishnuprayag is formed whereVishnuganga and Dhauliganga meets and forms a new river Alaknanda

*Nandprayag is formed where Alaknanda and Nandakni river meets.

*Karnaprayag is formed where alaknanda and Pindar river meets.

*Rudraprayag is formed where Alaknanda and Mandakni river(coming from Kedarnath) meets.

*At last,Devprayag is formed by Alaknanda and Bhagirathi river (coming from Uttarkashi,Gangotri) and forms our Holy river Ganga .
