Kempty fall is most famous picnic and tourist spot in Mussoorie. It is known for its Milky water streams. Kempty Fall is located at an altitude of 4500 Feet above the sea level, on the roads of Dehradun - Mussoorie. It was developed by a British officer "John Mekinan", for organizing tea parties.
The term Kempty is comprised of "Camp" and Tea" which means tea parties were organized there in the evenings. the pond developed at the bottom of falls, gives an excellent spot for swimming and bathing to tourists.
