In western countries, western toilet seat is used. People use toilet paper instead of water. Is iit safe?

In India, we use a different type of conventional toilet seat wherein we kneel down. On English toilet seat, we sit in a L position.

Water and soap is an excellent method when it comes to anal hygiene. In initial era, people used to wipe with leaves. Papers are just similar to that. They are just a fancy version because you can not collect leaves and use them.

When you place a roll of toilet paper near the commode, you feel like a western no matter you use that paper or not.

Western toilets are comfortable but they have many disadvantages.

The L position does not put any pressure on food inside the stomach.

When someone sits on a western commode, he is either spreading bacteria or he is taking bacteria from the surface of commode. When you flush the toilet, around 1 million bacteria stay alive !

Just think, suppose there is some person in the family who is having stomach infection, viral fever, tapeworm or some other illness or there is any person having urinary tract infection, hemorrhoid, hepatitis, common cold, STDs or any other disorder and he is using same toilet seat which you are using. That person may spread these infection to others.

Researchers have found that when you flush, germs, bacteria, microbes can move up to 10 inches above toilet seats which can transmit infectious diseases. These germs/microbes/bacteria can spread on toilet surfaces.

When you sit on that surface they will stick with your thighs and then can spread to body. This is dangerous. Or if you touch the surfaces then these germs will be transferred to your hands. And if by mistake, you touch your face or mouth, you may become sick soon.

Before sitting on English seat, always clean the seat cover with Dettol or disinfectant.

Indian Toilet Seats:

  • In Indian toilets, you have to do squatting which is good for health.
  • When you sit in kneel down position, it increases blood circulation.
  • The squatting position pressurizes the food inside the stomach which means full cleaning from inside.
  • It is said that these squatting position is good for pregnant women as it helps in the normal delivery.
  • There is no wastage of paper so it is eco friendly system.

The most important: Your things do not touch any part of the seat so that means germs/bacteria/microbes are not sticking to your body.

Additionally, you use water for cleanup which is much better than the paper. Water cleans the butt hole fully, paper does not.

So there are very very less changes of spreading infection which means Indian toilets are much much safer than English one !

Some Precautions:

  • It is always advised to cover your mouth/nose so that you do not inhale flying germs/bacteria/microbes unknowingly.
  • Do not go to toilets/washroom barefoot.
  • You should not stay in toilets more than 6 minutes.
  • Covering mouth/nose is a must before flushing the toilet.

Now ask yourself "why people fell ill at home?" & "Are you doing mistakes?"

Share with your friends and relatives and save them from stomach infection.

Indian toilets are superior to those in the West despite the fact that the latter appear more comfortable:

1. More sanitary

There is no question that an Indian restroom is significantly more hygienic and germ-free than a western one. Because the body does not come into contact with the toilet seat, it is kept clean and less likely to cause an infection, or UTI. Unlike the western seat, which does not cause urinary tract infections.

2. Good for digestion

Digestion is improved when you sit in a squat position, which is good for you. Indian toilets exert force on bowel movements to ensure that your stool is adequately cleansed. Since there is little force applied to your stomach in a western toilet, the stomach is also not properly cleansed.

3. Reduces the risk of constipation

The Indian squat position completely eliminates the stools from the body, clearing your colon. The likelihood of developing a stomach infection decreases when using an Indian toilet.

4. Colon cancer prevention

The placement of Indian toilets ensures complete excretion of bodily wastes. Additionally, this lessens the possibility of appendicitis, constipation, inflammatory bowel disease, and other stomach issues that can result in colon cancer.

5. Best time for exercise

One of the best exercises is squatting, which is healthy for you. So, when you squat on an Indian toilet to relieve yourself, it improves your blood circulation and strengthens your leg muscles.

6. Ideal for pregnant women

For pregnant women, Indian restrooms are the greatest since they do not put any strain on the uterus. Additionally, it gets the expectant mothers ready for normal delivery.

7. Saves paper

Western toilets waste a lot of paper, whereas Indian toilets do not. Thus, it is environmentally friendly.
