Making paneer at home is what I favour. since there are many benefits to make paneer at home.
Ingredients required to make Paneer at home :
There are only two ingredients required to produce paneer.
1. Milk: For optimal results, use whole milk. Even though you may prepare paneer with 2 percent milk, I suggest using full milk for beautiful paneer cubes.
2.Curdling agent: It may be yoghurt, lemon juice, or vinegar. If I want a hard block of paneer, I always use vinegar.
Procedure :
1. add the milk, In a heavy bottomed pan over medium heat
2. Allow the milk to boil, stirring frequently to prevent it from sticking to the pan bottom.
3. After the milk has reached a boil, turn off the heat and slowly pour in the vinegar (or lemon juice).
4. The milk will eventually start to curdle, and the whey will start to separate. At that time, stop adding the curdling agent and give the milk five minutes to fully curdle.
5. Pour the curdled milk into a cloth made of muslin.
6. Rinse the paneer under cold water to remove any vinegar taste from the finished paneer.
7. Gather the ends of the muslin cloth and squeeze out all the water you can.
8. Next, spread out the paneer (which has been wrapped in the muslin fabric) and set it down on a flat surface. Then set something heavy on top to help it settle.
9. After the paneer has dried, carefully remove it from the muslin fabric and chop it into cubes.
Any of your favourite recipes, like this one for butter paneer, may be made with paneer
